The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship breakfast is the premier scholarship fundraising event for the Hartford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is one of the largest Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations in the State of Connecticut. Corporate and community partners help the Hartford Alumnae Chapter to raise funds for renewable scholarships granted to young women in the Greater Hartford area pursuing higher education. This year’s event is special, not only because it marks four decades of dedicated service, educational support and it provides an opportunity to begin the year with purpose and inspiration.
