The Connecticut Education Network (CEN) is excited to announce Jennifer Corriero, Co-founder and Director of TakingItGlobal, as the keynote speaker for the 2016 CEN member conference to be held on May 13, 2016 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Corriero, named a Forbes 2013 Innovative Rising Star in Education, Healthcare and Environment, has spoken about online activism and technology in education in over 30 countries in addition to serving as a youth engagement consultant for companies like Microsoft.
CEN’s conference theme for 2016 is LINK (Leveraging Ideas, Networks, Knowledge) and is aimed at educators and technologists from K-12 schools, universities, libraries, municipalities and businesses across CT and the region. CEN is also accepting sponsor registration and proposals for breakout session speakers on topics ranging from security to utilizing social media.
