Hartford’s Front Street will soon be serving up surf and turf.

Nix’s, a Massachusetts seafood restaurant with locations in Boston, Plymouth and Nantucket, plans to open its fourth restaurant in the downtown Hartford development in the spring.

Signs have gone up at Front Street in the space between the Capital Grille, the upscale steakhouse that opened last month, and the space that will be occupied by Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, expected to open in the spring.
