HARTFORD, CT (April 24, 2012) — Karen Kelly will be joining the Connecticut Convention Center as Event Manager. The Connecticut Convention Center, located in Hartford, is managed by Waterford Venue Services. Karen will report to Jaime Testa, Director of Events.
For the past six years, Karen has been associated with LIVE NATION, a worldwide music promoter whose CT division operates Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford and the Comcast Theatre in Hartford. She worked in the capacity of Event Coordinator initially and then as Event Manager.
As Event Manager, Karen will be responsible for working with clients to provide professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, monitoring the logistics of these events and all event related tasks after events are concluded. Karen will work under the direction of the Director of Events in her new role.
